The ‘Hull People’s Memorial’ and ‘Hull People’s Memorial Museum’ are projects operated by ‘Hull Remembers’ – an entirely volunteer-operated educational charity, registered in the UK as Charity No. 1146942. All income is used to enable the operation of the museum and preservation of our records and artifacts. Noone, at any level of our organisation, receives any form of payment for their work. We do, however, offer free tea and coffee to all volunteers, while on duty.
Most of our income comes from shop sales and the various events we support throughout the year. Voluntary donations help support our work help, but without the generous support of Trinity House Charity and Hull City Council, it would be impossible for us to continue.
